Is it really a roller coaster?

Everyone always tells us that life is like a roller coaster. Ups and downs, but in the end it's worth it. I don't see it this way. My life seems to be crashing down around me. I'm a support beam holding it all up, but soon I will crash, too. Where am I going? Will I ever get there? Do I even know who I am? This is not a roller coaster. No, it's a life full of confusion and depression masked by a few people witho good intentions. An that's all. Don't pretend that life has ups and downs. We're stuck in a pit. Admit it.
